We want to be real with you: Jumping on the bandwagon and being ‘sustainable’ should not be a brand’s point of difference or a marketing technique. We are sick of vague claims and green washing, just because it’s on-trend to care about our planet. That’s not what we are here to do.
We do the best with keeping our footprint as minimal as possible whilst recognising that fashion thrives on newness and consumption, which is a major contradiction to the concept of sustainability. That’s the honest truth.
For the carbon we do create, we have decided to offset this by planting Australian Native Forests with Greenfleet. For every order placed, we pay Greenfleet $5 AUD to regenerate legally protected biodiverse forests.
Greenfleet is a leading not-for-profit environmental organisation committed to protecting our climate by restoring our forests.
Greenfleet plants native biodiverse forests to capture carbon emissions and help fight the impacts of climate change. Since 1997, Greenfleet has planted over 9.6 million trees across over 500 forests in Australia and New Zealand. They don’t just set and forget, (or plant and walk away), they closely monitor the successful growth of their regenerative efforts ensuring they not only survive but thrive.
As they grow, Greenfleet forests absorb carbon emissions, improve soil and water quality, and restore habitat for native wildlife, including many endangered species.
Greenfleet forests are also legally protected for up to 100 years, ensuring they can grow for future generations.
Through practical climate action, Greenfleet is growing hope for our climate.
